This morning Scott came to pick up Monte and Mythos. I have been dreading this and anticipating it all at the same time. It was very difficult for Kyle and I to say goodbye to them, but we keep reassuring ourselves that we made the right decision. It's going to be very strange to not have 2 animals at my feet all the time (in addition to the kids!) It sort of feels like we just let go of our best friends and that is heartbreaking, but at least I know they are going to a good home where they will be loved and be paid attention to.
