I'm only just barely back from my awesome vacation in TX. I'm too tired to write all the awesomely good details and am awaiting the arrival of yet another "lost" (more like forgotten at the airport) piece of luggage. So, I will leave you with this one fact that I learned while in East Texas. Did you know that not all McDonald's sell the same foods? I've been to McDonald's in 3 other countries and didn't know this until I was in East Texas. I was hankering for a Shamrock Shake and told my cousin to drive up and ask for it--even though neither him nor his wife had ever heard of it. So, he did. The drive-thru guy was like, "a what?" Mike repeated 3 times, which only confused the poor guy more. There are NO SHAMROCK SHAKES in East Texas. Now, don't you just feel sorry for them?
