A friend of mine gave us a free night at the Casino Hotel (she gets free comps all the time) and just our luck--they upgraded us to a suite! It was an amazing room, and since we were only there for a night of swimming and air conditioning we were quite excited. The view was amazing, and sitting in the jacuzzi while admiring the view made it that much better. We invited some friends to join us in the pool and for dinner, and then cozied in for a night in. There are fireworks over the falls every Friday and Sunday night, which aren't all that spectacular, but once again--from a jacuzzi on the 21st floor--the view is all that much better. The bathroom was so big and beautiful...it became Mikaela's bedroom. This morning we decided the pool was too cold, so we went swimming in the jacuzzi. Did I mention--we loved the jacuzzi? I definitely see a hot tub in my future! Even after all the great perks, we were glad to come home. I guess all those sharp granite edges are just too stressful for me.
